The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, recognized The Westin Beijing Financial Street with the "Five Star Diamond Award" at a press conference held at the hotel.
More than 50 major Chinese media were invited to witness the presentation. Mr Joseph Cinque President and CEO of The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences flew in from New York to present the award.

The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences is governed by an International Board of Trustees. All members of the Board are respected leaders in the industry and are themselves, world travelers. Valuable sources around the globe routinely submit nominations of five star establishments for review. The Board then refines the selection to those who qualify for the ultimate evaluation.
